Anthony’s - Ottawa, Ontario

Went here after heartbreakers said they could make anything more than one small pizza for us, three adults. Not bad, good options, tasty dough, albeit a bit busy. We enjoyed the bar, and, while a tight squeeze, staff was friendly. Would recommend.

Came in on a Friday night and it was buzzing! I can see why when the food hits the table. The char, the fresh ingredients, the atmosphere… all perfect! And our server Emma was a delight. Can’t wait to go back. Highly recommend the food is insane good!

One of the best pizza in Ottawa. It’s oven baked (wood fire) and you can actually see the employees making them. It’s an open space. Great choice of red or white pizzas. I had the carbonara and it was delicious and made with fresh ingredients. I wish there was more choice ... in the wine list but they have a couple great Italian wines, and local beers as well. We went to Anthony’s this past Friday night. It is a hopping place, with people of all ages. This is not a quiet restaurant, but that was ok. Busy, happy vibe here was welcome although I 110% recommend making a reservation. My husband and I shared a large Caesar salad. It ... was perfectly dressed, a light lemony dressing and oh, the bacon lardons were perfect. We shared the Diavola pizza: Spicy Soppressata, hot Calabrian peppers, mozzarella. The crust had great flavour and the right amount of chew. The edges are puffier. I secretly longed for a garlic sauce to dip them in but it was delicious without it too. I definitely recommend this is a happening neighbourhood spot to get a good pizza. Parking (free, on the street) might be a challenge so give yourself time. Read more

We had an amazing dinner at Anthony’s. Our server Maria was great and gave us an awesome pasta recommendation- the panccheri. This was such a unique pasta and absolutely delicious.
