Little India Cafe - Ottawa, Ontario

Absolutely love this place; we regularly get takeout. We have tried a few other Indian places but... we always come back here, even though it's a bit on the pricier side. I think the only place I've been that was comparable was the old Haveli's. Everything ... is just so very, very flavourful and it hits that craving perfectly. Highly recommend giving them a shot. Attached picture shows some of my favourites; dahl, saag paneer, vegetable korma, and channa masala (I'm a vegetarian, but my husband also loves the lamb vindaloo and chicken tikka masala). Great service and my favourite Indian food in Ottawa. Best Butter Chicken in my opinion!! Lots of other delicious options. Staff really take care of you. Great experience.

Why haven't I visit this place sooner? Nidhi was the sweetest. She's very attentive and checked in on us many times. I don't understand the low rating on this place. We had the lunch special and chose Butter chicken, chicken tikka masala, beef and lamb vindaloo. The naan was awesome. Every ... bite was delicious. I wish I had more leftovers to eat right now. The food was good but quite normal. Edible but nothing special. The chicken Tikka curry was on the sour side. The service was quite good. Prices are on a higher side especially given that this is a small place that can also feel a bit cramped. Parking can be a ... challenge. Read more

Small halal authentic Indian restaurant with variety of food options. We ordered butter chicken with garlic Nan, Sekh Kebab and Samosa. I would say butter chicken was delicious and amazing with the bread and sekh kebab was not bad. Their service was excellent and the server was quite nice and ... helpful.
