I ordered a Americano and the energy bite through the ritual app and it was great! Very friendly staff and they got my order done very fast. The atmosphere is very clean and warm.

This is my 2nd visit here. I haven’t ventured from the chicken chilli - perhaps because it’s both tasty and filling. The quinoa bottom is akin to finding gold in every bite. The healthy dollop of guacamole is a must and if you are a fan of cilantro and green onions, ... be sure to add them. This lunch spot has an interesting feel. The dance music pumping from the speakers makes one feel like dancing - not sure something I do often over lunch. Nevertheless, a great spot for some wonderfully wholesome food. Read more

Amazing energy and customer service! They make you feel like family and very welcome every time you enter the restaurant. Beautiful decor! Ample street parking. This is my go-to for really good and really healthy lunches during the week, when I don’t have time to make my own (which is often!). There are a few restaurants in the downtown core that I've tried that have a similar kind of menu, but The Fuel Bar is ... definitely my favourite. I’ve tried a lot off of their menu and my favourites are the vegan chili bowl, black bean wrap and grilled chicken salad. I started eating breakfast at Fuel Bar because I am short on time in the morning and want to eat unprocessed food as much as possible. If you want something less expensive on the go than you are generally looking at highly processed food (or at least only moderately healthy/semi ... processed options). In fact, the only processed items they have I can think of is the vegan protein powder used in some of their smoothies and the wraps, everything else is pretty well whole food. Keep in mind that everything is home made, some ingredients are organic and everything is high quality. Their breakfast burrito tastes amazing, is healthy, (is a huge serving IMO) and a great value for $7. I can't speak to lunch but have sampled several of the breakfast menu items and they were all very good. Their staff are incredibly friendly and down to earth, know my order by heart each morning and are happy to make small substitutions based on preferences.
