Just had the most amazing time at Greek To Go! Seriously, this place ticks all the boxes for a fantastic dining experience. First off, major props for being halal-friendly! It's not always easy finding places that cater to everyone's dietary needs, so that was a huge win for me! The food was ... delicious and the portions were also very generous! But here's the cherry on top: they gave us complimentary dates to break our fast and kicked things off with a tasty soup which was also on the house! It's those little extras that really make you feel like a valued customer, you know? If you're in the mood for some seriously good Greek eats and a vibe that's as welcoming as it gets, Greek To Go is your spot. Trust me, you won't regret it. We found this little gem completely unexpectedly in this part of town where there are not too many options available. Just short drive from Courtyard by Marriott Ottawa East it was a perfect spot for a quick lunch. It was not too busy, but the food we ordered was amazing! ... It took a bit of time to get the lunch served which probably meant that they prepared it fresh from scratch! Chicken was very tasty, juicy and tender and salad was crisp and flavourful. It took a bit longer than expected and it was hard to find parking. Restaurant is nice although wasn’t too busy, could take advantage of a quick “face lift”. In any case, none of that decreased my impression of how good the food was! Read more

This place is the jackpot if you like good Greek food. We loved the lentil soup and the starter Spanakopita with spinach and feta filling. The main dishes, one seafood and one moussaka dish, were equality tasteful and everything tasted so fresh! The host was utterly friendly and accommodating! The name suggests ... that it's only a take away restaurant and the ambience may need some attention, but the food is certainly worth a visit! Read more
