Athens Grill - Ottawa, Ontario

I have eaten hundreds of shawarmas in Ottawa and this place was my worst experience at a shawarma shop by far. My large shawarma was flat like a pancake consisting of barely any chicken and mainly lettuce and vegetables. My garlic potatos were half full, there were maybe 10 small ... potato chunks and a small spoon of garlic sauce. I have never written a negative review in my life but this visit warranted a complaint. Read more

First time there. I ordered the trio special. The food was amazing and that garlic sauce sooo good. They were super friendly and welcoming and the prices were reasonable. I will definitely go back when I need lunch again

Delicious food. Owner was great and super nice. They definitely care about their customers. No rush to leave the restaurant. They Brought our food to us. Huge portions of delicious chicken, donair, chicken souvlaki. The rice and salad were amazing. Great potatoes and sauces. The BEST Greek-Lebanese hybrid food in all of Ottawa. No doubt. I’ve been going to Athens Grill with my family since 2007. The quality of the ingredients are top tier. The portions are generous. My dad and I both LOVE the beef kabob. I get a mix of chicken shawarma ... and beef kabob. It is run by a gorgeous family who are some of the most kindest people I’ve met.
