Delicious veggie pho soup! It's hard to find a restaurant that is generous with their vegetables - Quan Viet's version includes a delightful - and generous - blend of broccoli, celery, carrots, snow peas, green peppers, and green onion in a full flavoured and authentic broth. I got take out, ... but the service was both friendly and prompt. Highly recommend this quaint restaurant. Will certainly be back with friends. Read more

WOW this is what Pho (Quan Viet) is meant to taste like - meats grilled in a wok first (rather than just boiled) and a complex, fragrant and delicious broth, (no need to add hoisin or hot sauce to create flavour). BEST PHO IN OTTAWA! Thanks Andy

What a great little restaurant! We weren't terribly adventurous with our order as we were dining with a 3-year-old, but the pad Thai, with its perfectly balanced flavours and fairly generous offering of shrimp, was absolutely delicious - probably the best I've ever had. The staff were very friendly and ... welcoming, even though our little one was cranky at the beginning. I would definitely recommend Quan Viet for anyone looking for a cozy restaurant with very good fare and service.. Read more
