Taco Bell - Ottawa, Ontario

We went to this taco bell just to see it, we hadn't been to a taco bell in Canada before, just in the US. Experience was all around awful. Food was terrible, the fries were old and soggy, had to get new ones made but they made them waaay too salty. The ... tacos themselves were almost fully air with a little sliver of ground beef and some lettuce. Everyone that was in my group had serious food poisoning all night and the next day from this visit. The floors were unbelievably sticky everywhere you walked. The workers didn't seem to really care about our concerns with the food. I would stray as far from this place as possible, there's even a food truck across the street that might be a better option. For a fast food restaurant, I was pleasantly surprised with the taste of the cantina chicken. The service was fast for indoor dining and the staff was very courteous and friendly. I would go there again for a fast meal.

After ordering my families food they made my food incorrectly but everything else was correct, so I went to the counter to have it fixed. Waited 5 minutes until being able to explain what is wrong, then offered to pay for the difference as the person who took my order the ... first time entered in the wrong thing, got charged a premium price due to the supervisor not knowing how to only charge me for a portion as I've already paid some money. Regardless I didn't care so I waited for my food to be ready......25 minutes of watching my entire family eat their food, my food is finally ready so then I got to sit there and eat alone... thanks! The whole point to eating at a place like this is for FAST food to enjoy WITH your family, friends, etc. This entire ordeal was 45 minutes and none of us were happy. Read more

Reading the other reviews, I guess I lucked into showing up at a quiet time? Because they served me as quick as possible, plus my chili cheese burrito and fries supreme were both tremendous. I really hate living in Newfoundland because I don't get Taco Bell - and the nearest ... one in Sydney NS sucks too - so thanks b'ys for making my year. Read more

Incredibly disappointed. I know that Taco Bell already gets a not so good name from their service. But I thought after paying 35.00 for 5 tacos and fries and being disappointed by meal I have to say something. My fries tasted like they were old and possibly re fried. ... Or left under a warmer. I feel like it cost Taco bell next to nothing to make a fresh batch of French fries ( or have a timer to get rid of the old fries ) I've included a photo of my gross fries. We have all had fries that have been left out so it's very easy to tell when fries weren't done right. Time was not in my favor tonight as I could not go back (nor should I have to go back). My service was good. The food was not. I will not be returning and hope that this message serves well if you would like to keep customers in the future. Read more
