Forced to go to an actual cashier because I'm paying cash. Only 3 cashiers open. Waited 15 minutes in line. Would have gone to self checkout, but I'm not using my card. Maybe more cashiers at peak times. 1820 when I got in line

Very poor and terrible customer service at the Photo Centre. The young dude there doesn't even look at me when talking. Another tall dude is just on his phone chilling. On April 19, 2024 at 8:26 AM at Store #3638 Barrhaven Walmart. TC# 7422 0923 2238 3712 6119. Dishonesty is what prompted me to write this review. I have seen the transformation of this Walmart since 2011 and where it is now; it is not heading in the right direction. At the ... self checkout, a Walmart staff brazenly give themselves a rating on my behalf; 5 Stars. At the end of the transaction, while leaving and without giving a rating; I heard a sound that said "sir" and then I saw that on the screen it has been set as 5 stars. When I engage the individual, this person still boldly exchange their view and gave challenging statement "you don't think we deserve 5 stars". I told this person that you should not have done that; giving a false rating and doing it without permission is wrong. This person still insisted that his/her action is right and "I was doing it with you present". More accurately would be doing it when the customer have their back turn. For years I have lost faith at this Walmart location, customer service has gone down. Likely business is doing well but that is not because the store itself provide exceptional customer service experience; rather it is the strength of the Walmart brand that able to secure lower purchasing rate from vendors and offering lower price to customer. Attention Walmart Canada: Dishonesty is not a way to get your rating. Your corporation should be questioning how trust worthy is the rating stats obtained from the terminal when the independent Google Review said otherwise. Read more
