McDonald’s - Ottawa, Ontario

My friend and I walked into this McDonald’s so filthy, every garbage bin was full most tables were dirty, (understanding customers need to clean up there own mess but can’t throw anything out) Woman’s washroom was gross both sinks covered in water one sink had a piece of a lemon ... inside of it. I told one of the staff members it’s messy in here even the washroom and she basically walked away. Thankfully two of the young ladies working there after I mentioned something started cleaning up. I went through the drive thru at 2310hrs on May 10, 2024. After sitting at the mic to order and saying "hello?" and no one answering even though I was the only one there, no one at the other mic and no one in front of me, I finally have a ... woman come on and ask for my order but I could barely hear her due to the loud music playing near her. When I got to the window the cashier lazily repeated my order, the pretty vulgar rap (I love the genre so this isn't coming from someone who listens to Christian or country music) was ridiculous and unnecessarily loud. As in so loud it could have been inside of my car. I'm not here saying they shouldn't be listening to music and enjoying their shift, but I'm saying it affected their ability to work and was unprofessional for people who work face to face with customers. Fantastic friendly and helpful customer service - one of the best I’ve experienced in Ottawa! Food and a variety of options great to meet most needs. If there are any issues they are swiftly resolved in an excellent way! Definitely enjoy coming here!

This is the first time I used the app to order here. It’s fast and efficient. It was 11.49 for a Big Mac meal but it’s only $8 ordering with an app. Make sure you do that. I got a code after ordering and I gave the server the code ... in drive through. Very convenient. I felt sorry I paid so much last time when I got 3 Big Mac meals here. Always speedy with getting my food in a fast time. This location can get busy in the afternoons as there is a high-school near by. Often teenagers come here after class to hang out and grab a quick bite.
