McDonald’s - Ottawa, Ontario

This location is in dire need of renovation. It's dirty, it's understaffed and apparently under stocked as they seemed to be out of something with each new order. For my order it was tomatoes. The staff are trying to do the best they can with what seems like limited means, ... limited supervision and limited training. If I were a McDonald's GM, I'd be paying special attention to this location. There's opportunity to make the experience as great here as it is at every other location, but it's going to take a lot of work. Read more

Cleanliness is next to godliness? Not for what I feel is like the filthiest McDonald's I've ever seen. This place is usually grungy but this just tips the boat. Not busy but I guess too busy to empty out or cleanup anything? Tables were disgusting and garbage overflowing on all ... fronts. I do not recommend going to this location. If it's this dirty out front for customers, how dirty is it where can't see? Stay away. We've filled in an experience survey and sure hope they contact us so we can provide these images that just show a complete lack of any motivation to keep this place clean. This is my worst experience ever at McDonald's, the service staff is very simple and expressionless help me order, the speed of the meal is very slow, I am a little envious of this idle work, and finally put the meal directly at the service desk to do nothing else, I ... believe the primary school students will do better than her. Right in the end of one of the main isles there is McDonalds restaurant. Not a fan of this type of fastfood chain, but this branch seems clean and well managed. Not crowded and calm atmosphere. We rarely buy ice cream at Mc Donalds, so we have no idea of the ... food quality, but it probably standartized throughout all stores in Canada. In general we are very positive about this location. Well if you like wasted time, being told you can't have something then come here. 20 minutes waiting on a order with a ridiculous line of people waiting. No staff member cares, no one knows what's going on. This is by far a terrible experience. Olsen doesn't know what he's ... doing and gave me attitude after asking me what I ordered and then severed me the wrong order.. I don't know where it's acceptable to give attitude and tell someone "it's cool bro" when you mess up a order... So while writing this another 10 has passed makin it 30 mins wasted, no one's gotten food and it's terrible. That's a picture of everyone ordered not recieving any food. Good job. Read more
