McDonald’s - Ottawa, Ontario

I visited the McDonald's drive-thru and had a very disappointing experience. The food was not up to the usual standards. It tasted bland and lacked the freshness I expect. This Mcdonald is the worst store i’ve ever experienced. I have kids that I am with we ordered 4 happy meals and we ordered more stuff. Mostly all the orders were wrong kids were very disappointed and didn’t want to eat the meals. They were the one who’s mad and ... they were the one who put the wrong orders. Very unprofessional and very lazy. Stupid is the word I can give those people. Hopefully the owner takes responsibility for their bad behaviour of employees. They shouldn’t be working in a fast food place. If they treat people like that. Very rude and disrespectful. Even with the kids there. Read more

At McDonald's, a brew I sought, A vanilla coffee, a simple thought. But alas, no stir in my icy cup, Service rude, my spirits drop. No swirl, no twirl, just a bland sip, A coffee experience, took a bad flip. Rudeness added to this bitter brew, McDonald's, oh why, what did I do?

This is the worst mcdonalds in all of ottawa. The staff is not friendly and didnt even speak to me while giving me my order. The staff is also incompetent and has no awareness to what is going on in their store. You can go to a sit down restaurant, ... order and eat your food, pay the bill and get back home before your food in this drive through is ready. I have spent more time in this drivethrough than on the toilet. There is no care whatsoever to the customer. They have also gotten my order wrong more than half the times ive been to this McDonald’s over a three year span. I HIGHLY suggest driving an extra 7 minutes to the walkley mcdonalds because it is still faster than waiting at this location. Unbelievable, if i could give it 0 stars i would. The favt this place has over 1 star is mind boggling. The owner should be ashamed to call this a fast food location because it is anything but fast. You also have uber eats drivers walking up to the drivethru and waiting there awkwardly in front of your car to pick up their order. This is a clown of an establishment and should honestly be shut down. Not to mention the one time i went inside it smelt like sewage and was riddled with dirt every where. Read more

"Everyone at the drive through is rude" are most of the comments here. Well, I had my experience at the drive through today and it was not very pleasant. I placed my order at the window. Told her ahead of time I had a two can dine coupon. Came to ... the window with a coupon to scan and return to me. The young lady said "she couldn't scan it bec their scanner doesn't work" so I asked her to use a working scanner and give me my coupon back. She slammed the window shut and the bar inside fell down. She got the manager who also didn't care less. He said no we have to take the coupon. I said all the other McDonald's scan and give it back to me. He basically said "we're not doing that what do you want to do." I said I'll go elsewhere . I asked for his store number which he gave to me and said "have a nice day"and shut the window. My question is if other McDonald's are scanning coupons so you can use them again. How is it that these guys , wont because their scanner doesn't work. And do people even know that you can scan the coupon and use it again. I get it they probably are overwhelmed and staff seem to care even less about their customer service. A little touch up on what good customer service is could really turn this place around. Do they read the complaints or toss them aside like they do their customers. I won't be back for round two or three when there's other McDonald's just up the road with much better service. Read more
