I love Lou's with my life. I'm not Canadian and still, coming to Ottawa is a must to stop by Lou's. It's amazing how a food truck parked by downtown keeps attracting people over and over and delivers one of the best experiences you can have with Poutine all over ... Ottawa, hands down; fries are crunchy, Gravy isn't way over salty and the Cheese Curds melt under the heat of it. Trust me, if you see the construction workers from the Parliament remodel come here to grab their lunch that's cause it's an amazing spot Although I just want to give a small heads up for those wanting to try their food. As I already said, it's a food truck parked, so it's availability depends heavily on the weather. Went last week on Monday, a rainy winter day, by midday time and they weren't on their spot, a nearby worker told me he haven't seen them in the whole day and probably wouldn't be there (Spoiler, they indeed didn't). The next day was a cold and a lil snowy Tuesday and it was the same, no Lou's.
