Absolutely love the shawarma here! The food is incredibly delicious, especially the generous portions of meat. It's always satisfyingly filling and flavorful. Highly recommend if you're looking for a spot with tasty shawarma and hearty portions!

Awesome shawarma generously portioned. Highly recommend the chicken shawarma; plenty of chicken and toppings. The rice is seasoned perfectly too. The garlic sauce isn’t too strong and you can have a lot of it. The barbican is how you know they’re serious. The fried veg is delicious too. My wife and I have been coming to this place for years. They offer a traditional Shawarma menu with awesome flavors. As others have stated, the garlic sauce is amazing. And whether you're ordering a sandwich and garlic potatoes or a platter, the portion sizes are really generous. I love ... being able to buy a dinner platter from here and have plenty of food for lunch the next day as well! Not once have we been served dry, over roasted meat that was on the spit too long, always juicy and succulent. I highly recommend the chicken as they use a nice spice blend to marinate it. The staff are great. They've gotten to know us over the years, they recognize us right away and ask how our day has been, and sometimes we get little extras. At first glance, the restaurant presents itself modestly with a small step at the entrance, unfortunately marking a hindrance to wheelchair accessibility. The interior ambiance aligns with the simplicity ... of its facade, showcasing minimalistic decor that places the entire focus on the dining experience rather than aesthetic appeal. The menu at Shawarma King doesn’t venture far from traditional expectations, maintaining a straightforward lineup of shawarma offerings. However, it’s not the variety that captures attention but the generosity of portion sizes. The value for money here is evident, as the servings are notably generous, ensuring that hunger is well and truly sated without denting the wallet. A significant highlight of my meal was the garlic sauce that accompanied the room-temperature garlic potatoes. Despite the lukewarm potatoes, the sauce was a revelation, bursting with garlicky goodness that added a vibrant kick to each bite. There was a black curly hair in my food.....I assume possibly from a beard.. I have long straight brown hair and no facial hair so it clearly is an issue here.
