I ordered the meat platter for takeout twice and it’s honestly the best Ethiopian food I have tasted in Canada. All the food items were flavourful, the beef slices were soft and well seasoned, I loved their chicken stew so much I googled the recipe to recreate at home. Tip: do ... not order food from them at the end of the day because the quality of their vegetable sides deteriorates. Had takeaway for 3 people at $14 per person. Portions are reasonable but what I particularly liked was the flavor which was a bit different than the other places in town. I have eaten at all the Ethiopian restaurants in Ottawa now. This was my last one. I ... put this up in the top 2. Bad service, rim of my cup was sticky all around and then saw something floating in the water jug. Really really good $10 dollar specials. And the owner is a super nice person. Food was fresh and the flavors are amazing. Highly recommend trying this. And it was fun eating with my hand. Take a friend and share.
