Great place for a guy if you want 40 year old roid rage losers to try and start fights with you. Great place for a girl if you want those 40 year old men to grope you. The bouncers are about as useful as the door at the front, often causing more ... fights then anyone on the inside of that place. Bouncers are unnecessarily disrespectful. Never in my life have I experienced such disrespect, let alone from a sad excuse of a bar. I flew into Ottawa for the time to celebrate a friend's birthday. We were greeted by a stubborn bouncer who nearly assaulted my friend and kicked her shin ... as she was trying to explain a misunderstanding. He didn't even give us the time of day and proceeded to kick us all (party of 10) out. Overall, WORST bar in Ottawa. STAY AWAY. Read more

The first time I went to Tjs with a group of friends, one of their wallets were pulled out of their back pockets by one of the employees. We did complain and reported it to the police who didn’t do anything about either. The second time i decide to go ... to Tj’s was on my 21st birthday (Friday November 10, at 11:00 pm). The bouncer (tall, blonde hair, blue eyes, white and overweight) was being awfully rude and unreasonable. He claimed one of my friends snuck in when he was just trying to stay warm since he is a visitor and isn’t from canada who also couldn’t handle the weather due to his health issues. I did question the bouncer respectfully and nicely at first but he started swearing and yelling at me as he pushed me back and slammed the door on my face then eventually kicked all of my friends including myself out. I'm spending my hollidays in Canada and my first night out in Ottowa , i went ther. That's because my uber driver suggested me to go and I was by myself on a family trip here . I had a great time there ,the music is not excellent but it's ... good, you will find girls of 18-22. 45 minutos after i went inside i was drinkin on the bar, invited a drink to a very good looking girl and she kissed me, so if you are New and just want to chill go to that place. Basically got jumped by eight people because they guy mistaken me for someone else who chirped him... this was a while ago but thought i would warn people that the bouncers did not even break it up... but told me to leave as quick as i good.
