Dandy Brisket - Ottawa, Ontario

This place is expensive for the portions they serve. The food was okay but definitely not worth what we paid for. I always like supporting mom & pop shops but this place was disappointing.

This my favorite breakfast spot. reasonably priced and delicious food. but the service and friendly atmosphere is why i keep going back.

Best smoked meat sandwich in Ottawa! This is a truly hidden treasure on Lancaster Rd. Very reasonably priced. Family-owned, lightning fast and personalized service. The owners will remember you and make you feel right at home. I love this place!

Its hit and miss with this place. A bit on the over priced side. I've had the shawarma and its good but.....some times it gives you the runs. The restaurant itself is tired and needs a serious reno.

Decided to stray from my usual spot at Little Garden on Lancaster Road and try Dandy Brisket. Mistake! Charged $18 for a shawarma, potatoes and a chocolate milk. $6 more than Little Garden. Shawarma was poorly wrapped and fell apart when opened. $8.50. Garlic potatoes were not well cooked nor ... well seasoned and just plain old sub-par. $5 for a single serving. (???) Chocolate milk was $2.50. Taxes took care of the rest. I will never, ever visit this dump again. Hope you enjoyed the extra six bucks you skimmed off of me for food I would not serve to my worst enemy. I do not complain when people like you rip me off, I just make sure my review reflects it.
