Owner is not very friendly and judgemental. Food is good. The use of gloves to pay using the Interac machine is not very environmental friendly. Interesting since she Reuses her glove. I have been avoiding gluten for many years and this was my first time in a dedicated gluten free bakery. I was overwhelmed by all the amazing looking goodies available. We were there for some bread and the shopkeeper was kind enough to put up with our questions. We thanked ... her for her help and also purchased some lasagna noodles. We purchased the sorghum almond bread and sourdough. The sourdough was devine and everything I remember in flavour. It also had a good texture, though it wasn't fluffy. The sorghum almond bread was a bit on the crumbly side but tasted pretty good too. We will definitely stop by again. Read more

This place is amazing. I don't know why there's so many bad reviews - people are jerks. I have severe allergies, including to gluten and many scents. I really appreciate that this store is a scent free space. I also appreciate the sheer variety of gluten free products available - ... I've never seen so many!! The Australian meat pie, cornmeal buns and white rice bread are all amazing and well worth the price. My wife adored the butter tarts - she's tried hundreds of them and likes to rate them and that one was 10/10 - perfect flaky, buttery, not too thin not too thick crust, delicious filling and not too much of it, great crust to filling ratio, perfect carmelization. Just fantastic. I'll definitely be back for more, including those frozen pie crusts. I found the service refreshingly straightforward - I am on the spectrum and I sometimes need time to absorb my options. The owner was patient with me and my wife as we made our decisions, working in the kitchen and not chit chatting, and she answered all our questions when we asked. I really appreciate that. This will definitely be our go to supplier when we want to splurge a bit on good quality gluten free products. The people leaving 1 star reviews should be ashamed of themselves. We drove 35 minutes from Downtown Ottawa thinking we would buy a gluten free panini we saw on google maps, when we arrived we learned it they where selling them just during covid... it was a bit of a deception because they looked succulent. Despite a very dry service, it almost ... felt we were not welcome there... we understood the clientele is composed of very fragile people and the owner was very cautious to protect them. We bought an amazing foccacia bread and i must admit everything in the bakery looked absolutely delicious. What a lovely experience walking into this shop. In supporting local businesses and expanding to all gluten free options it was exciting checking out this place. With a HUGE selection of fresh foods both savoury and sweet, I was greeted by Sue who was endearing and kind. She provided an ... in-depth explanation of ingredients used and her wholistic philosophy on locally owned businesses.
