Giving 2 stars because I’m generous. I have worked in customer service for a long time. I understand that some employees get annoyed when it’s busy, and a customer says that they got their order wrong. I understand how difficult it is when it’s busy. But when there is literally ... no one at the shop, I expect my small order to come quickly. I don’t expect to wait 10-15 min. I thought I’d give this place another chance when I went a few weeks ago. It was honestly worse. The place was a bit busy. About 5-10 other people there waiting for their orders, a few in line and only one employee. I don’t blame the slowness of my order because of the employee. He was the only one there working, I honestly felt bad for the guy. Management needs to do better. Additionally, I ordered the Tuscan chicken panini..which was terrible. It wasn’t hot and it was so oily. The taste of the chicken didn’t taste fresh. The frappe that I had just tasted more like 80% ice with some chocolate and some coffee. I understand it’s busy but no need to be sloppy. On top of that the cookie desplay was 80% empty. The owners of this place really need to keep an eye on it. Read more
Had a terrible experience at this cafe, and if I had read others’ review I would have avoided it. It would have been a good place but the staffs just ruined it. Very unprofessional and lack of hygiene awareness. First the cashier gave us the wrong item and had ... an attitude like it was our fault. While we were enjoying our coffee another cashier cranked up the music because he was in the mood but it was so loud that we couldn't stay there anymore. On my way out, I caught him casually grabbing a cookie and stuff it in his mouth... seriously?! I feel bad for the owner that a cafe was turned into a party house with free cookies. Read more
To the jerk who thought it was ok to talk down to the staff. It's not the workers fault the owner refuses to change the American prices. The staff are here to serve you not run the store. The staff are great at their job and don't need a jerk ... like you talking to them that way. If your not happy go some place else. If you want to complain, complain to the owner the one who is in charge of those things. Read more
Raced to get there in time for an ice cream for my daughter after a night of shopping. Got there at 8:56 (according to phone synced to Internet time). Supervisor said it was 9. That they were closed, despite all other stores still being open. Said that they had nothing to ... serve (which my daughter pointed out-- there was lots of ice cream and stuff in the display cases). Refused to give managers contact info. Complained about her long day, that she makes minimum wage, and so on. Told me to go ahead and write a bad review. Okay. Don't waste your time and energy. Just go somewhere else. Read more
Ice cream was great. The staff was really nice and friendly to us, although he had a busy day.
