I waited 12 minutes to pick up a cake. Staff working on multiple orders at a time rather than one order at a time. McDonald’s builds one order at a time, which seems like a faster method than the chaos I saw at this store. We have been loyal customers of Dairy Queen for many years in Canada and the USA as they make the very best ice cream cakes. However, I must especially compliment the Dairy Queen in Bank St, Ottawa who make a scrumptious, wonderful, Oreo Blizzard 10" cake. I requested ... them to have one layer of vanilla in the bottom, and chocolate and Oreos in the middle and chocolate on the top and it was done to perfection and absolutely delicious. My husband who is an American and has been a DQ fan since 1957 was completely impressed and ate nearly 1/4 of the cake in one serving. We will definitely go back to Dairy Queen Bank St to order the cake for our grandaughter when we are next in Ottawa. again. Read more

I have gone to this Dairy Queen several times as it is close to my house. I have always enjoyed my ice cream orders and found the staff helpful. (Note: I have only tried their ice cream-related items, so I can't speak about their non-dessert food). In terms of the location, I ... almost always bring my order home, as I find the space to be a tad small to dine in. The building itself also looks like it could use some upgrading.
