Dairy Queen - Ottawa, Ontario

This place is brutal. Just once, I'd like to get served through the window like a normal drive thru. They make you pull around front, and someone brings it out when their shift ends.

Update: Manager reached out after I provided feedback and said they would look into this. Changed from 1 star to 2. Original: I don't recommend this location for dining in. The staff were very kind but that's about the only good part. The bathrooms were out of this world gross ... and the place needed a very deep clean. Certainly not for families who want to eat in. Food also took a very long time (to the point I asked about it). The fries were also not even filled up completely. I did provide feedback on the website but all they said was "thanks for sharing". The ice cream is nice BUT the service I received is horrible. When I entered the store the staff gathered at the back of the counter. I'm sure every one of them saw me since there are several eye contacts, but none of them came to service. They were chatting ... and laying on the back of the wall. After around 4 minutes FINALLY one of them came up and asked the customer BEHIND me. WHY? The customer is nice and she pointed at me, therefore at the end I got the ice cream. I question whether the employee here is properly trained? There is an obvious racial treatment among the service. I do not recommend this place. Read more

Bland service but quick. BUT, when I got my large Rolo Blizzard it came out to me already melted. It was a cup of slimy milk, not a thick ice cream treat. Never coming here again, I do not recommend you dine here
