The food was good, but way too expensive. I had the large shanghai noodle, which is smaller then the regular full order at so good and other places, yet costs 40% more. The soo guy chicken was very good, but the regular portion is actually a half order, but again ... about 50% more expensive. My order was about $50 after tax, for about the same quantity of food I get at competing restaurants for about $25. Read more

This might not just be the best Chinese restaurant in Hintonburg, but it is one of the best in Ottawa! The fried pork has lots of meat, not just thick layer of batter. The scallops were HUGE! Unfortunately, after years of ordering from Wonton house we were very unimpressed with the food ordered last night. The Shanghai noodle had a very unpleasant, funky taste, not at all Smokey. The chicken with mixed veg in satay sauce had no peanut flavour what-so-ever.

Old school Chinese food, prices are reasonable, staff was polite and attentive,
