I've been to bad places and good places, excellent places and terrible places. THIS place is an absolute GEM of ... an establishment and qualifies as an EXCELLENT place, IMO. The owner makes you feel welcome when you walk in, he takes the time to ensure you enjoyed your meal. Really nice Caribbean restaurant. Goat was on point & so was them rice & peas. Jerk chicken was fall off the bone & properly seasoned. Delicious. Had it with scotch bonnet which was nice & fiery. My friends and i went to the tropical heat restaurant,,to try it out. We were welcomed in such a way, one would think the owner had known us for years. I ordered a curry dish with Roti,and was impressed by the size and taste, It reminded me of growing up as a ... child in the west indies. The portions was really good and the taste was immaculate.
