Joey is one of my favourite restaurants in the city. I must say that I was impressed today with the warm and welcoming hospitality extended to us upon arrival. Our hostess, Sara, was exceptional in her service and attention to detail, making our dining experience perfect in every way. The Steak Frites ... that I ordered was cooked to perfection, and the fries were crispy and delectable. This meal was truly unforgettable, and I can't help but recommend Joey's restaurant to anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience. Whenever I'm in Ottawa, Joey's Lansdowne is my absolute favorite place to dine! It's the perfect spot whether you're out for a romantic date or socializing with a group of friends. Their menu is so diverse and every dish I’ve had is delicious. The cocktails here are just as amazing ... as the food, meeting every expectation. The staff there are friendly and attentive, which really adds to the whole experience. The only downside is that on weekends, it can get pretty busy, so be prepared for a bit of a wait. So, it was my roommate's birthday, and she picked this venue to celebrate it. I wished she had made a reservation, though. Because I was going nuts waiting more than two hours to get a table for two on a Thursday night. My hot temperament was gone once I tasted ... the yam 🍟 ... so good!!!
