Best diner/ restaurant I've been to in a while! The food was absolutely delicious, homemade, and very filling. The portions were generous for the price point and the ambiance was superb. Most importantly, staff was outstanding, generous, and so ever kind! We went there while fasting and they gave us ... free donuts out of the kindness of their hearts - they told us to have it for later in the night! Great to chat with and seemed so genuine. Ordered from "Comfort Corner" on UberEats which is basically Flapjack's. Two eggs, sausage, toast, hashbrowns and a buffalo poutine. Breakfast was decent, they overcooked an egg and added a third, that was nice of them. The buffalo poutine unfortunately was not so good. Came here for our 1 year anniversary lunch and had a great time. Food was alright and the service was great. You place your order through your phone which is quick and convenient. Food came quickly and our drink, appetizer and main where brought to the table seperate so we ... had time to enjoy everything one at a time. They heard it was a special day for us and offered complimentary dessert which was a kind gesture that made the visit that much better. Read more

This is my second time eating at this restaurant. The first time it was before the pandemic started and I was it okay. I really liked that they had bottomless coffee and free pop refill. This second time it was awesome. My wife and I had the "Pandwich" and the Waffle ... Chicken Sandwich. They were delicious to say the least. The hot cakes and waffle batter was very tasty. The home fries were better than the regular fries, so go and give them a try. What I found that made the home fries so special was the spices. This time (I am assuming because of the restrictions) the bottomless coffee and pop was not available. It would great if the owners could figure something out because it would make a better experience for the customer. At the moment, you have to order and pay through the Square online service. It worked well and it was easy to navigate. I found the prices a bit steep and the tip was included when I paid (before being served). This part I didn't like. Overall it was a great experience, I will definitely come back again. The best part is that it is a pet friendly restaurant and my pup is welcome. For me this is very important. Read more

Went for lunch w/ the family and enjoyed the experience. Was odd to pay & tip first(?), but so be it! Unlike some other reviewers, I like the self-serve non-specialty/non-alc option. For a diner, menu was varied and has pictures of what the food looks like. Very helpful! Took 20mins ... to get our food though, but we kept the kids entertained w/ the colouring provided.
