Cora Breakfast & Lunch - Ottawa, Ontario

There's a reason this place has a 3.7 rating. The food is wildly inconsistent, you never know what you're going to get. It often bears little or no resemblance to the menu. If you point this out they say " we'll this is the new way we make ... it, the menu is wrong". Drive 20 minutes to another Cora's and the food is the same as the menu. Expect to wait an hour plus for your meal to arrive when it's busy, even if the restaurant isn't full. Better yet, drive 5 minutes down the road and get much better food and service at any one of a number of other restaurants. I love Cora's and eat here often, but today will be my last day. I always order gluten free toast and like my non-gluten-free guest, the $1.75 extra I pay for GF toast gets me two pieces of toast. Today, I got only one piece of toast. The reason I ... was given is because the new bread they serve is a little larger than what they used to serve. If I wanted another piece of toast for my second egg, it would be another $1.75. That"s outrageous! Read more

I have eaten at many breakfasts places, but Chez Cora in kanata by far is the best and delicious breakfast i have ever had and their staff is so friendly. Hands down you have to come here and try their breakfast. We will definitely be regulars here.

This location didn't disappoint. Went in for brunch around 10:20 today and just beat the rush. We were a table of 9 who they fit within about 10 minutes. It got quite busy so our meal took some time but everyone enjoyed it and we weren't rushed to leave.
