Belmont - Ottawa, Ontario

Best brunch place in town. The Belmont has become my wife and I’s church. We are here every weekend and if we can’t come, life just isn’t the same. Shoutout Kate and Nicole.

This place is an absolute treat! Don't be fooled by the interior. The Belmont may look like an ordinary bar, but their food is equal to a fancy, fine dining restaurant. We ordered the vegetarian family style, which includes: trini doubles, endive salad, cauliflower, broccolini, mushroom on toast, & lemon ... cheesecake. Thinking it might be small portions, we also added the beef tartare. All the plates were generous portions! Everything was so delicious, and the cocktails were tasty too. Honestly the best brunch I've had in Ottawa. The full Belmont had this homemade sausage, delicious scone, incredible homemade beans, and great potatoes, eggs, and bacon. Ask for hebenor sauce they make it in house and we bought a bottle - so good if you like spicy! The French toast....unreal! Can't even ... describe the flavors. It was perfect. Went for new years dinner with my husband and oh boy! Everything was spot on, food was amazing, excellent service. They all were super friendly and attentive, music was really good and the atmosphere was lovely. For sure we’re coming back 🙂

Very cute little restaurant in Glebe. Not many tables to you should make a reservation. We did walk in and got lucky- seems like they can accommodate pretty well including bar seats. A diverse little menu with nice items- everything in 20-25$ range. Drip coffee 3$ on top of your meal - ... it was standard. I got the full Belmont which was generous! Salad for breakfast? Was delicious actually. Eggs and the best beans ever! Bacon typical. Thick Hamburger like sausage patty and potatoes that sometimes were a tad brand- might be better to dice them all instead of leaving them whole. Husband got the bacahlau and said it was VERY good! Atmosphere very cute - nice artwork, quiet music, loved the feel. Waitress very nice. Read more
