We shop at Whole Foods at least 3 times a week and have noticed a BIG decline in the service that made Whole Foods stand out in a niche business model. We now have to choose between bagging our own groceries or waiting in a long line to be served ... by an actual cashier. Also, we bought flowers for Mother's Day, and it was pretty obvious that every second or third person in the store was doing the same thing. They have a big sign by their flower area that says "we wrap flowers", but when I asked for the service I was told "we are not doing that today as we have too many things going on". Unacceptable. Cover up your sign so as not to mislead the customer, or actually follow through and provide the service according to your business model. Bottom line, we will be watching over the next few weeks and are prepared to take our business to the local independents or Walmarts of the world that we believe provide the same or similar level of service. There is no longer an advantage to shopping here, especially since the prices are higher than most grocery stores. The trade-off has always been a better service-based experience, but that is no longer the case in our opinion. EDIT (BASED ON MANAGEMENT RESPONSE): Are we serious? And go Where? While I do appreciate the acknowledgement to my message, the page brings me to the Main Whole Foods website, which is basically impossible to navigate. A customer has raised issues about service, and you guide them to ANOTHER site to re-enter their concerns? Why not just deal with it head on, based on what was listed here with clear solutions, and follow up with a tangible response? Stopped in here today for the first time. I have to say although it's a bit of an upscale grocery store, you can find items for fair/decent prices considering the current market. It was a very pleasant experience shopping here and I enjoyed the offerings of local products. Their selection ... of fresh take away food looks incredible, although I did not purchase any and I'm not sure it may be a bit pricey ?? I would definitely consider it considering how fresh and amazing everything looked! Read more

Inaccessible signs, otherwise good selection of healthy food options. When I walked in, I loved the look of the place and the options for healthy food. It's pricey, as all groceries are now. I was very surprised at the signs in the aisles because they were so hard to read, even ... with my glasses on. I don't believe there's enough contrast between the letters and the background colours of the signage. I think it would be best for everyone - visually-impaired or not - if these signs are changed to a more legible, accommodating font colour/contrast to help guide the patrons better, more efficiently. Whole Foods grocery store provides lots of selection of organic and fresh produce at a slightly higher price. But with that price I believe there is better quality. There is a wide selection of "ready to eat meals" and food bars to make convenient quick food selections. They also promote ... local farmers stock on their shelves, which I like. I found the store layout confusing. For example, there are several different brands and sizes of bottled drinking water scattered throughout the store and isles. There are also other similar in store products also equally dispersed, such as; ready to serve meals and fresh fruit/ natural juice drinks. This added time for me to search for what I wanted and made it more difficult to comparison shop to determine which one I wanted to purchase. However, it didn't stop me from shopping, but because I was mindful of the time limits in free paid parking it did impact how much I purchased. At this location there is 1.5 hours of free redeemable underground parking under the stadium. Just present the parking ticket at checkout and the free time will be added to the parking ticket. Then when leaving the elevator in the parking lot area there is a parking kiosk to validate the parking. Insert your card at the kiosk and then again at the exit gate, then you are good to go.
