This cute café serves really delicious Japanese treats and hot beverages. We bought a Japanese cheesecake, which was really good. They have a lot more desserts, all of which look amazing. The services is really good thanks to their nice employees. Highly recommended if you're looking for a sweet bite.
This place use to sell only drinks and desserts and now they have food! The curry katsu is amazing and highly recommend and the fries are to die for! Each combo comes with gyoza and it’s really yummy! I love their melon soda ! And I’ve tried all their drinks ... and they’re all delicious I want to order at least two drinks every time I come! The matcha latte is really yummy .. the roasted matcha is super bitter so beware! The Gyudon is also delicious ! Everything is delicious so you can’t go wrong with any choice but the burger can be dry sometimes :( .. the green tea cheesecake is very delicious as well! The shaved ice is huge ! It’s an order at the counter style cafe and take a seat and someone will bring you the food. I highly recommend this cafe! You won’t be disappointed! Read more
A good casual Japanese restaurant that Ottawa needed - self service but food is served at table👍. Great desserts - all homemade😋 They are not Japanese but very accurate to real Japanese flavor. Hoji cha tea 🍵 is rare to get at other restaurants, too. Katsu - pork ... is recommended. Read more
It was my first visit after all the hypes about this place but Uji Cafe did not impress me at all. We had matcha shaved ice and cake roll. Food quality was not very good as the cake roll was not fluffy and creamy at all. The shaved ice was ... okay. You shouldn't expect any insta-worthy interiors and food decorations. Food comes on a McDonald's rubber tray with unmatched utensils! At least the servers were nice. However, they do need to put some more effort to attract customers to return! Read more

Cosy and cute Japanese restaurant that specializes in flavourful tonkatsu dishes. I had the Okonomiyaki Tonkatsu Burger which was very tasty and comes with a side of thick crispy fries and a drink. Friendly service too.
