Starbucks - Ottawa, Ontario

I ordered from Trainyards Starbucks on Uber eats and was disappointed with the service provided by the store. My drink, a refresher, was only filled 2/3 of the way. I paid extra for no water in my drink. I dealt with Uber to get the refund, but decided to call ... the store to see why this happened. The supervisor, Kasey, told me that if I were to come to the store in person, there is no such charge for no water, thus my cup wouldn’t have been filled. My immediate family works at Starbucks, and I am a frequent customer; I know they charge 1$ for no water/extra base. Lady that took my order is fantastic! She was smiley, attentive, kind, and showed that she really cared about getting my order right. I've had various experience at this Starbucks location. The food and drinks have been up to Starbucks current standards, that is not bad. What's not working for me is absence of bike rack (I already mentioned that to staff before) and limited sitting and generally not very cozy atmosphere.

Don’t buy their Frappuccino blended beverages!! First off if you buy a grande they add a boatload of whipped cream to cover 80% of the cup and the rest is just some liquid. This is supposed to be a BLENDED drink so why is it all liquid? The drink cost ... over 7$ I would expect it to be done right. Waited at the counter for close to 10 minutes just to be skipped for another customer. Employees need to be trained to communicate with each other during busy times to ensure they there are no gaps in service. I expected better from this location. Management is lacking and I think ... the Coventry location is better run than this one. Every location gets busy, but triaging and managing resources is a normal part of any customer service profession. Do better. Read more
