Starbucks - Ottawa, Ontario

The barista that served us was so helpful and ready to please us. He was very friendly as well. Service was excellent at this Starbucks, I wish more of the Starbucks baristas were like that employee. Thank you!

Customer service at this location needs to be improved. I have never had an experience at a Starbucks where I felt like I was a bother, except today. The cashier didn’t say anything the entire time except “yeah” when I asked if they had hot breakfast items since it wasn’t ... displayed anywhere. She placed my drink on the counter without saying anything and again when my hot item was ready, placed it on the counter without saying anything. In fact the other barista working asked me if I was waiting for anything because the original barista didn’t say a word indicating that it would be a minute. I knew it would be so I waited which was fine but for a second I wondered if she forgot my hot item because again she didn’t say anything. In fact, she turned her back to me. Anyway, maybe she didn’t want to be there early on a Sunday morning but even just a “hello, what can I get you?” or “here’s your drink” would suffice, instead of a stone-face and zero friendliness. I’m not expecting a song and dance but a certain level of polite conversation is absolutely required for a client-facing job. Read more

Such an amazing team working there!! FANTASTIC customer service skills&drinks always taste wonderful!! I always leave with a smile! I recently visited this establishment, and unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. The staff seemed to view my presence as an imposition, displaying a general bad attitude. After perusing other reviews, it’s evident that I’m not alone in noticing these issues. As for the frappuccino I ordered, it fell ... short of expectations. Given the prices charged, I would rate it at a mere 60% of what it should have been. Strongly recommending that the staff undergo retraining, and perhaps the store could benefit from a refresh.
