I'm embarrassed to say I've ordered sandwiches here more than once. The convenience isn't worth it. Maybe if you're starving and trapped in the building ... that's the only acceptable excuse I would have for eating here. Watched incredulously as they counted out the tiny slices of deli meat and cheese ... making sure not to exceed the owner's strict rules on product cost... Subway is bad, but this place is worse. At least the price is reasonable. Read more
Starting to be fed up with this place! After a while all food tastes the same. But what I find worst it is since couple months to a year they raise their prices for breakfast sandwiches. Actually they didn’t changes their prices, they start charging for veggies or ... extras that are not in the advertised original sandwiches. Example: 0.29$ for veggies, 0.69$ for cheese. This morning I wanted a sandwich breakfast, by looking at their prices I see this: BLT = 3.69$ Egg & Bacon = 2.99$ So I order an Egg & bacon sandwich with extra Tomato and Lettuce… which supposed to be 0.58$ extra (2 * 0.29$) = 3.57$. The sandwich lady wanted to add 1$ for an extra egg for a BLT and charge me 4.69$. I’m not that stupid! I had to argue with her that I order an Egg & bacon with extras; “It’s ok if you want to rip me off by charging 0.29$ for 2 slices of tomato - I accept that but don’t take me for a fool!” If you are not happy as a business that a customer played you, it’s fine! You just need to wait until the customer (me) and change/ adapt your price, but don’t start arguing with me! My sandwich this morning had a bitter taste! Read more
I drop in on occasion (like this morning) and get me some take out breakfast. It's, it's good, and you pay according to the weight of your food. Not exactly sure what the price is, but if you stay away from weighing down your order with multiple hash brown patties ... like I do, you can get a decent take out for under $6, excluding coffe if you drink it. They also have the fruit cut up and ready for the breakfast time. Read more
I know people who live by the food at this location since it's located conveniently close to my work, but I find the value proposition a little bit lacking. The food is definitely well prepared and fresh, especially the lunch bar; but, the cost per gram from the bar is ... super expensive. The cost of baked goods, and pre-made items is more reasonable, but its probably on par with going to Tim Hortons. Read more
This is a grab and go place, but my experiences here are not great. Prices are okay. The issue is the total does not match when you get to the cash. A 13.49 sandwich and a 1.49 soft drink should come out to 16.95$ after tax, yet the total due ... was 17.50$. When I asked for an itemized receipt, I was told the machine is broken. So I think this place is stealing from its customers. Read more
