We went for a light lunch Sunday early afternoon. The atmosphere was cozy. The panini tastes very good. Service was very friendly and efficient.w didn't try the gelato which looked very much like ketchup, mustard, and mayo but I imagine it tasted good. The colours put me off a bit. ... Vegan friendly! Really nice place and owner is a genuinely nice lady. Sandwiches served on tasty vegan GF bread, sandwiches and bagels can be veganized, they have almond milk for their yummy lattes, their soup of the day is typically vegan, plus a brownie! Discovered this gem of a place today. Despite driving by it everyday I never stopped by to try it out because I thought it was simple a coffee and bakery place. I couldn't have been more wrong, this place served omelettes and bagels and sandwiches and have phenomenal gelato. I feel I would be doing a disservice to everyone in Ottawa, by not reviewing this place! Their breakfast sandwiches, paninis, and soups are amazing. I also highly recommend the take out lasagnas! They serve slushies with a bit of a healthy twist, they use organic lemonade! It's very easy ... to define why everything they make blows my family and I away: they take pride in what they do, are quality focused and use incredibly high end ingredients. Mandy's cafe is an awesome place to have desert. I tried they're chocolate cupcakes and it had some chocolate icing, but usually, I am not a fan of icing but they're icing is out of this world. Very nice people and great service. Over all awesome place.
