Green Garden Café - Ottawa, Ontario

Hi I was early for an appointment this morning, so someone mentioned. There was a great little cafe, in the basement run by a very nice married couple. So I went to check it out, and I’m very happy i did. First of all the wife was there,her name is Angela very nice ... to talk to. Great customer service skills, so I was checking out there menu boards. I could not believe the prices, they were very resonable. I had a very big breakfast, I chose scrambled eggs and bacon. It came with amazing home fries yummy, white or brown toast. It came with a coffee, I asked how much more for a soda omg never in Ottawa same price. A small office-building cafeteria that serves better food than most. We ordered a chicken wrap and a chicken-veggie plate - both were tasty, properly cooked and a generous serving for the price. Service with smiles. The name is ridiculous though given its windowless basement location!

Great food and excellent service

Possibly the most misleading business name ever. Tiny windowless room in the basement of an office building. Cheap food, though I didn't try it. Was looking for a macchiato but it didn't seem like the kind of place to get that. Left in disgust at the disparity between expectation and ... reality. At least get rid of the picture that implies there's an actual garden here. Read more
