Despite absolutely no signage to indicate that the paid parking on site is for staff and visitors only, and multiple interactions with parking attendants who knew I was parking there for work they out of the blue threaten to get the city of Ottawa to fine you with a passive ... aggressive letter. As per the letter I received from their head of parking my vehicle is now banned for life. Hopefully no one I know goes to Hospice there because apparently the city will fine me for being on the property. Read more
I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction and concern about the treatment I received at your office today. Despite arriving promptly for my scheduled appointment with Dr. Andrew Ward, I was subjected to an unacceptable wait time of over an hour and 10 minutes. What's worse is that the ... receptionist continually allowed patients who arrived after me, and were late for their appointments, to go in ahead of me. We could hear the patients apologizing for arriving late due to traffic or cranky child, yet they got in immediately. This blatant disregard for punctuality and fairness is completely unacceptable. As a patient, I expect to be treated with respect and prioritized based on my scheduled appointment time. Instead, I was made to feel insignificant and disregarded, which only added to my frustration and anger. To make matters worse, I am experiencing chest pain, and yet, I was forced to endure an agonizing wait while others were seen ahead of me. This is not only disrespectful but also potentially dangerous to my health. Regrettably, due to the intolerable wait and the lack of consideration for my well-being, I made the difficult decision to leave your office without seeing the doctor. It is deeply troubling that I was made to choose between enduring pain and waiting indefinitely. I urge you to address this issue immediately and take appropriate measures to ensure that such unacceptable practices do not occur in the future. Patients should not be made to suffer due to the incompetence or negligence of office staff. I expect you will take the necessary steps to rectify such situations and prevent similar incidents from happening again. My health and well-being, as well as that of other patients, should always be your top priority Read more
My family member spent several weeks at the Bruyere Centre and the care was exceptional. Staff are caring and patient centered. I was pleased to see how they work as so well as a multi-disciplinary team. They (any one of the team) were always available to ... communicate and update. We appreciated the day-to-day intensive program and also the after care program; which is incredible and rare these days. If you have a rehabilitation choice, EB, should be where you advocate you/your loved one to be. Read more
