Bridgehead on Wellington West is a reasonably large location with ample people watching opportunities (if that is your thing). The staff here are attentive and welcoming which lends to a good experience when you visit. With plenty of seating, you can almost always be sure to find a spot to sit and ... enjoy your coffee/tea/whatever. The age old question at this location is: which bathroom key is the most popular? I had the Maple Crush and it was genuinely the best coffee I’ve ever had. I am OBSESSED. My brother had the cappuccino and he said it was the best cappuccino he’s ever had. Came here for the first time on a trip to Ottawa. Originally we made our order and let them know we would sit and wait outside for our beverages. It had been sometime and when we went to check on our order it turns out they had forgotten. Not only were ... the staff here kind and courteous, but very quick to rectify the issue and gave us vouchers for beverages for the next time. Our coffees were freshly made and delicious. This is my second time trying bridgehead. First time at this location. I ordered a large iced coffee - the staff handed me a black coffee with ice cubes. For the price I should have just ordered a coffee and let it cool down. When I asked for them to ... add cream and sugar they pointed to the side where you had to add in your own sugar and cream. Whenever you go to other coffee places they add this in for you. The coffee itself didn’t taste to bad but the fact that you have to add sugar that doesn’t melt then you’re left with a grainy coffee was not the greatest. I don’t think Bridgehead is for me.
