Arlington Five - Ottawa, Ontario

What an amazing cafe experience! Beautiful atmosphere, incredible selection of coffees, and fantastic execution. The espresso I had was intricate in flavour, perfectly balanced acidity/sweetness, and amazingly fruit forward. Will be coming back as soon as possible!

I went to Arlington Five towards the end of the pandemic and was impressed by the homey and socially engaged atmosphere of the cafe. It’s a great place to get some work done, as long as it’s not full (which can happen quickly given that it’s rather small). My favorite coffee shop in the city! The owner prides herself on a safe and fun atmosphere for everyone, so she puts a firm stance on no conflict at the shop. All the employees are super pleasant and passionate about coffee and art. They regularly host pop ups, have new ... art, and community gatherings. They also embrace a unique top quality coffee microroaster for their supply and it’s the best/freshest I’ve ever tasted. Read more

Coffee (especially flat white) is amazing! Muffins are great, too. I love the vibe in this cafe. It can get a bit busy during the weekend so finding a seat is not so easy during the busy time.

Wonderful small coffee shop with warm atmosphere. Had the regular drip coffee here and flat white, as well as the ham and cheese breakfast. All were pretty good. We look forward to try their Tofu breakfast sandwich next time when dropping by ！ There is no parking lot for this spot, but ... you can always find street parking (very convenient too). This coffee shop looks to be a community favorite, with really really wonderful staff and good food. We're excited to come back for more! Read more
