World Burger - Ottawa, Ontario

I opened up Google Maps and it's told me I've eaten here 33 times(😬). I stop by at least once every 2 weeks, the food here is delicious, service is good, and they take gluten allergies seriously. I've never been burnt by this place. I ubered directly to here after traveling ... for 20hrs with little to no food this past winter. As someone with celiac disease I have to be extremely careful with where I eat, and this restaurant has amazing gluten-free buns. I've recently been informed that almost everything on the Happy Greek menu is also gluten free, so I'm looking forward to trying that. Although I can't have all of the burger menu, by far my favourites are the Ottawa Burger and the Venice Burger. I often switch between the two! My overall experience was very good. I ordered the classic cheeseburger combo (fry, canned Pepsi). The burger was a tasty with quality beef, and garnishings custom chosen. The fry was a good size and they were tasty as well. The ketchup dispenser was partially plugged so ketchup squirted all over ... my hand which was not fun. They ought to check that periodically. There was lettuce on my burger which I hadn't asked for but I just removed it myself - no big deal. The restaurant was tidy and the bathrooms were well-kept. Lots of free parking out front. Great atmosphere, friendly service, yummy food! Quiet on a Thursday night. I had an Ottawa Burger with Sweet Potato fries, and my hubby got an original with bacon and fries. Good music choice. Could have been a little less expensive, but over all reasonable!

Visited World Burger for the first time this week, and I must say, I was not disappointed. We had never gone in before so we thought it was a sit down restaurant, not fast food. However we were pleasantly surprised to find that it was somewhat of a mix between ... the two. While you do order at a counter, and eat out of throwaway packaging, the food took longer to prepare, and was noticeably higher quality. Both my partner and I ordered a burger meal. The burger was fresh, tasty, and quite large, like very large. To the point where we were too full for fries! For the money, this was certainly expected, but also impressive. The staff themselves we're very friendly and patient. The facilities were impeccably cleaned, organized, and decorated. The inhouse bathroom albeit small were much appreciated. Finally, we loved the additional of memes and funny videos on one of the TVs. Certainly a unique and quirky choice that we enjoyed thoroughly. Read more

World burger was delicious! Only feedback is both of our burgers were warm/cold and had to get them to warm them up. I don’t understand what people are complaining about price wise. The prices are fantastic! This is no ten dollar McDonald’s hamburger meal. It’s a gourmet burger! Serving were ... huge! Sweet potato fries were the best that I ever had! Restaurant was very clean and staff seemed to be cleaning constantly. The decor is beautiful. Restrooms are clean. Staff and customer service was wonderful. I would definitely go back. I would have rated the restaurant five stars if my burger was hot. Read more
