Mr. Mozzarella - Ottawa, Ontario

The pizza used to be excellent - very cheesy and great crust. Now with new owners it's sub par. The crust seems dried out / bland and they cut back on cheese. The pizza has changed so much with the new owners that we can't buy there anymore .

I see a common theme sadly, there are new owners here. We too have given them well over a month to start making pizza that was anywhere close to the previous owner, it has not happened. The pizza is really not good now, I think they changed or at least ... reduced the amount of cheese and must have increased the cook time because it is not melted mozzarella when it arrives...it is a dark brown Frisbee on top of dry crust. Add to the poor food what seems to be a complete lack of interest in listening to Customer feedback. (we tried to ask for it less well done with no change) It was our Friday order for three years, time to look for a new favorite. Read more

Was a regular there for a while ordered at least once a week. Last two orders were a little over cooked “well done” so I ordered this week and specifically asked that it was not over cooked because my kids won’t eat it. To my dismay pizza shows up and ... once again both were over cooked. So I payed for them sent them back with the driver and then phoned the store. Only to be told I would have to wait another hour because they were “swamped”, and they didn’t have enough drivers. So I said forget about it and asked for a refund. Oh wow! What a wonderful take-away place. it was late in the night and we were coming all the way from Toronto. We found it on Google as the nearest restaurant and boy, weren't we glad we checked Google at the right time. Fantastic food. Fantastic variety - Pizzas, Sub, ... Salads, Wraps etc. I ordered extra food and saved it for a few meals at Ottawa. Read more

If you are looking for quality in the Manotick area, go with Mr.Mozzarella. Great balance between good pricing and good thick delicious pizza. Top's i find is overpriced, Milano's are very rude owners and employees, pizza pizza just not enough on those slices almost like eating 50% air. Mr.Mozzarella very ... satisfying in my opinion.
