Check out TOP-10 Best Burger restaurants in Ottawa, OntarioReviews for Five Guys in Ottawa, Ontario
I recently visited Five Guys for the first time and, as a Quebec resident, I found it to be a positive experience. The employees were welcoming and served customers with a smile, which contributed to a pleasant atmosphere and a strong sense of team spirit. I ordered a cheeseburger, all dressed, ... and it was well-prepared and delicious. The fries were also enjoyable, although I found them to be a bit too salty, and others in my group shared this opinion. Overall, my experience at Five Guys was great, and I appreciate the quality of their food and service. I plan to visit again and found it to be a satisfying alternative to other fast-food options. Best burgers in town! The food is always ready rapidly, we always get what we order - no mistake! Their milkshakes are also delicious and the hot dogs are very tasty. Much recommended!
My wife and I brought our grandson for dinner last night. We all had cheeseburgers, fries a soft drink and got our grandson a strawberry shake. I would say this is still one of the best fast food burgers around. Old school juicy burgers with whatever toppings you want. Staff ... is good and service time was good. The only knock I have here are the fries. They use quality potatoes and fry in peanut oil so you know they have great flavour. Once again the only thing that keeps these from being one of the best fries around is the salt is way over the top. I realize it’s fast food and we aren’t coming to eat healthy but sharing an order of fries I am certain you are getting several days worth of salt intake. You can always add salt but you can’t take it away and it’s a shame because it would be 5 star if this fix this one thing. We would come more often if not for the over salted fries. I really hope it’s addressed Read more
Nice place! It's a step above the bigger chains. Sure, you wait a bit longer for your food, but it is absolutely worth it to get a fresh burger. The fries are great, especially the Cajun. We usually get take-out, and the bun does get limp by the time the ... burgers get home. Pro-tip, you might ask for a patty melt; burger patty in a grilled cheese sandwich. If you've got a peanut allergy, best avoid. Peanuts are freely available for snacking, and I believe they use peanut oil in the fryers. Read more
It's sad to see customer service drop so much in a chain that I really enjoy. The food is still tasty, and they are still very generous with their portions. Their menu has plenty of choices and they have great poutine topping options. I also always enjoy snacking on their ... peanuts when I come in person. Unfortunately the people working there come off as spiritless and they take advantage of services like Uber eats but don't take accountability for any errors on their side of the process. I don't think it's a big ask to make a short delivery to fix your own mistake, it's something other customer service agents have done for me before and it's something I've done for customers while working at a diner. Four people isn't really understaffed for a small burger joint, especially in the evening when they are much less busy, and yet that's the reason they gave for not having to fix forgetting an entire meal in their order. I only ask for the level of service I expect from myself or my own team and it's disappointing to see so few other restaurants willing to go the extra mile for their customers. Read more
