Burgers & Shakes - Ottawa, Ontario

My son and I went to have dinner at Burger & Shakes after his OSU practice. We ordered the chicken shawarma which were delicious that we highly recommend. But that is not the main reason for this review. My son left his very expensive cleats in a mesh bag ... with wet shirt on the field, typically not a big deal but we travel from Kingston so going back was not an option. From the moment I emailed from the website, I received an immediate response that they would look for the bag in the morning. I cannot say enough for the quality of the staff at Burgers & Shakes because a parent on our team (that I also cannot thank enough to help us retrieve the mesh bag) was kind enough to go back in the morning to try to find it and she said that the bag had been moved from the middle of the field to a table near the entrance for anyone looking for it to find it with ease. This young staff member has no idea the positive impact she had on my son in looking after a mesh bag. So from us, thank you for making the day for a 9 year old and his mom. Iconic Milkshake location! Their burgers are delicious, and the staff are always so friendly. We often stop in for a quick Milkshake and watch the sunset.

Amazing spot for a fresh real burger! Burgers and shakes has never disappointed with anything I've tried off the menu! If you have a decent appetite try the supercharger with cheese add bacon, you won't be disappointed 😋, if you enjoy a good fresh real burger I highly recommend stopping ... in for a burger or some fresh cut fries! Gotta be one of the best burger places in town. Had the crispy chicken, fish, and shawarma and the quality of the meats were top notch. Easily one of the better fish burger I've had. Its was moist and crispy with good wholesome flavors. A little disappinted that the shawarma ... did not have hummus and they use kabab style chicken instead of shreaded which was a nice difference. The breads they use were fluffy and seemed fresh and i enjoy how you get to customize your topings without it being overdone. Love how it's all year round place and I'll definetly be coming back to try out more of the menu. Read more

Great variety of burgers and sides. Lots of a variety of shakes. Good service. They need a bigger eat in section though but it is mostly a take out place. Winter time though it would be great to have more seats inside to eat. We ... were a party of 9 and we took up both booths inside( my birthday choice for dinner) the food was delicious.
