Swiss Chalet - Ottawa, Ontario

I visited Swiss Chalet yesterday and had their ribs, which were delicious. The service was excellent, especially thanks to our server Nadia. She was amazing, making sure everything was just right throughout our meal. I highly recommend this location and i'm definitely going back for more!

Sally and Richard sat at the corner Booth bussed by Wendy and the courteous manager Collin. The food was delicious, the service was prompt and polite.We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience. Thank you for an amazing evening.

It's a place to make good memories. Share laugh with family. The staff is cheerful. Makes you feel welcome. The food is great. Their is lots of parking. But as spots fill up, you might have to park further in the plaza. And they do have disability parking. Which ... is kind of nice. I recommend you put this place on your list. Went to this location for dinner , we had to ring a bell to get seated. Not sure why they can’t just watch the door like other restaurants. Order the garlic cheese loaf the it was luke warm and and the cheese inside wasn’t even melted . ... Not sure where the garlic butter was , as it was none existent. Order 2 can dine which was good and hot. But I do swear the fries were skinner then before. My mother went to use the restroom. It was very dirty , no toilet paper in one stall and not a paper towel to be seen. Overall I would say this place wasn’t really worth the visit. Maybe try one of the other remaining place in Ottawa. Edited post: I spoke to someone at the company by email, and they said to give them a second chance and gave me credit. They said they were working closely with management to rectify the issue. Wow, I was disappointed. Attached, you can see the chicken portion sizes are almost ... as small as the size of their rolls, if not smaller. Their poutine was not filled to the brim, and their coleslaw was two bites. The meal you see in the photos was of poorer value than if we had gone to Costco for a whole BBQ chicken and poutine, including the credit and the coupons. As in, we would have spent less money at Costco. We could not use the credit in the restaurant and have a nice sit-down meal. I shared this with the restaurant days ago and have had no response. Original post: The portion sizes are tiny compared to other chicken places. We ordered two white meat plates, some seasonal veggies and a poutine. The chicken did not take up much room on the plate, and we were only given a small handful of veggies. The poutine was the only good thing about the meal, but even that was small. Read more
