So many fruit flies it’s terrible, we had to wave at the waitress. Told the waitress it was disgusting s many fruit flies around our food we told her to tell the manager she respond he doesn’t care since we are closing after Mother’s Day. And she also ... said that the kitchen was outdated, and the washroom was not clean…..even it they are closing permanently in a few weeks the health inspector should check this out….she only charged for one meal, most of our food was left on the plate…should have just left and to tell you the truth I don’t think we will have seen us. Food was actually really good for the price. I think if you go for a sit down you end up with a better meal than take out. There was just one waitress going around so service was a little slow but not unbearable, and she was kind and patient with ... our group. Very reasonably priced I gotta say. Read more

Services & good was terrible. Worst Swiss Chalet we have been too. Waited 1.5 hours for food. Fish sandwich was a fish stick on a bun too big and nothing on it. Hamburger had chopped bacon & a small piece of cheese & nothing else on it. Also received Tatar ... sauce with the hamburger. You know the hamburger meal is bad when your son doesn't eat it and walks next store to McDonald's for some food. We were 7 people & only the fries were good. Some of us ate the food because they were hungry after a day of work. Child's drink came in a pop glass because they had no more child cups. Last adults pop came in beer glass BC there were no more pop glasses. We got 2 meals free and it still cost $110.00 for that garbage. It was verrry hard to leave a tip. Read more

Just came home from the Swiss Chalet on Montreal Road quarter chicken dinners were served cold as well was the recycled fries. Disappointing to see that a restaurant like this who needs to make sure their clients get quality prepared food would do this especially in these uncertain economical times. ... Vanessa was our server, and I was so impressed with her service I had to hop on here to talk about it. The food is always good, but ordering with Vanessa was extra enjoyable.
