We like this place so much we got married here :) Returned yesterday for our 2 year anniversary and the owner made sure to come and say hi. Really lovely staff and fantastic food. Also they have the best pina coladas.

Nice little patio by the river in Kemptville. Food was quite good and portions were ample. Steak sandwich was perfectly cooked. A little too much cheese on the dish but ok. My wife had the veggie quesadillas. Huge serving. Service a little too slow even though we weren't ... in a big rush. 45 minutes to get food when the place wasn't busy. Nice patio and nice view of trees. We had the brocoli cheddar soup it was very tasty. The mushroom soup was ok. The burger we had was tasty but very greasy and to much sauce. Beautiful patio on the water, food was quite tasty however the service was inattentive and slow. We were there mid-afternoon and it was as though we were forgotten between lunch and dinner service. We waited 10 minutes for menus, another 20-25 minutes for food and the server didn't come back until ... we were done. He cleared the table removing a full uneaten meal without inquiring at all as to whether there was an issue. When he brought the bill, all of a sudden he was friendly and chatting asking about our evening plans trying to redeem his tip. The food was good but the service could be better. Read more
