Mill Street Brew Pub - Ottawa, Ontario

Waited an hour and a half to get in a half empty place. Beer is average. Drinks are ok. Food is good, but service is atrocious! This place needs help. I will never go back because of the service.

When this place first opened it was a 10/10 perfect spot. The prices have doubled but everything else stayed the same. Amazing service and great food. Actually the wing size has been cut in half. It is like they use teenage chickens instead of adult chickens. That being said this ... place is still above and beyond other restaurants in the area. I would like to see cheaper prices during non peak hours. I say that because every seat is filled in rush hours so the price is justified, but during non peak hours it was just like 5 customers in the place. Bring back stock ale! Read more

I had my wedding reception here. The staff were super professional and accommodating in the planning process and set up. The food came out as buffet style but at the tables. there was a lot of food. Enough for each table to have seconds and thirds. The venue is gorgeous ... and the brewmaster room has tons of natural light as well as string lights. Good food and beer. Great location. Great service. We actually visited twice. Inside has a great view of the river pretzels are excellent. We also stopped in for a beer and sat outside on the patio. Located in a renovated and refurbished old saw mill, the historic significance adds a tremendous amount of ambiance to the experience. They've done an impressive job in utilizing aspects of the old mill in this pub. The food, service, and experience definitely make it worthy of another trip back!
