There is only one good thing about this pub: its location. Service was also good, no complaints. The food was terrible - even though I didn't expect anything delightfully appetizing at a sports bar, the steak covered in a greasy sauce was simply not edible. I gave the steak ... to my partner (he was very hungry) and bravely embraced to eat his burger instead. My taste buds were immediately assaulted by the amount of salt and pepper they used on his burger and fries. The portions were also very modest, given the price. Watching the soccer game was extremely uncomfortable as the TV screens are very small & all of them had glare from the sun. The seats were uncomfortable as well. At $25, I expected fries that maintained their warmth and texture longer. For dessert, the peanut butter and cookie crumble ice cream sounded enticing but fell slightly short with its overly ambitious mix of flavors. However, what truly elevated my evening was the impeccable service from Liv, our server. Her intelligence, warmth, and candid insights about the dishes made our dining experience unforgettable. She exemplified the kind of hospitality that sets The Local apart. While the bill totaled $96, I happily tipped $50 to commend Liv's exceptional service. Overall, The Local earns high marks for its ambiance and exceptional service, receiving an 8/10. The food and drinks, while enjoyable, could benefit from some refinement, scoring a 5/10. Liv's outstanding service deserves an off-the-charts 11/10 rating. I ordered the signature burger. I was feeling really down. Although the food was good, it was not excellent. The atmosphere was amazing, and it was the perfect pick me up. I was really happy I came here. After my meal I felt much better. Based on my experience this ... is a definitely a go to place to have a nice meal and watch some sports and have an overall good experience. I recommend that you go her at least once. Read more

This place is excellent for enjoying a drink, featuring plenty of seating and numerous attentive staff members. However, the restrooms require some attention, as they tend to become dirty quite quickly.
