Great find. Wanted a quick appy meal and shared a few small plates. Sat at the bar and service was great. Often the bartender is too busy pouring drinks. Not a problem at Irene's as they back each other up. Definitely will return.

Traditional bar with fun atmosphere, live music, great food and an awesome hidden outdoor back patio! Brisket sandwich - (4.4/5) Sandwich was HUGE, smoked in house and had good flavor. Paired amazing with one of the local ottawa hot sauces they have at the tables. Our group all ordered some sort of burger platter. Veggie burgers seemed to have won. The Mac-attack one did not have enough Mac Sauce. Couldn’t taste it that much. Great fries. Fun ambiance.

Great service. Atmosphere is loud on this day but doesn't take away from the live band. If you want close seating I'd advise getting it ahead. It is a smaller venue with charm.

A great venue for smaller bands and artists! A little outdated in terms of furniture but the decor is cool. The current art pieces they have all look very nice and add to the music atmosphere. Service is always available and efficient. They are attentive. There are lots of options to ... choose from but it is your standard pub fare. Check it out if you enjoy music, trivia, and some drinks.
