Earl of Sussex is in a time warp that dates back to 1984. Good music excellent food and the time warp particularly applies to the prices, inflation has not seen this menu since 1984 I suspect that will change shortly. Until then shepherd's pie made with real lamb 15 ... bucks fish tacos under $10. And when you ask for 2 fingers of scotch whiskey here you get two phat fingers. Read more

Fun pub with nice food and drinks, and good service. Stopped by for an afternoon snack after a trip to the National Gallery of Canada. Chicken fingers were good. So was my IPA! Interior of the pub is cute too.

Stopped here on my first Ottawa trip to see the watering holes my fiance used to frequent during her time in Ottawa. We came on a Saturday night. Seated on the patio we turned to the menu and saw it was $4.95 top shelf bourbon. Great price for ... some good Woodford Reserve! We also had a burger and fries. $9.95 any burger on the menu. Great deal and great burger! Gabriel the bartender was awesome. Even though there was a private party inside he was catering to he took the time to come out and make sure we were being well taken care of. Absolutely stellar service and great prices. Very good food with a varied menu. Good beer selection and cocktails are good. Service is friendly, patio is nice and prices are fair. Totally recommend!

Great little pub with good selection. They even sell hard-to-find beers! Staff are good and the outdoor patio is great in the summer time. On the fringe of the market, but a great location right on Sussex.
