Been here years before, sushi is decent. Fiancé and I found the menu online and decided to place an order. Lady on the phone told us about 30 minutes. We arrived 30 minutes later to be told it wasn’t done yet and to sit down and wait. We waited patiently ... and calculated what our order total should come to. After another 20 minute wait (restaurant was empty), we were called up to come pay. Not only the cat robot almost ran me over, the bill was absolutely shocking. Had to pay at least $2 more for every item! The online menu is absolutely deceiving. Mentioned it to the lady and she didn’t seem to care, instead she assumed that I didn’t want my change. Delicious, great service was ready when we stopped to pick up our take out order. Super yummy! However, I was a little surprised by the pricing because it didn't match what was listed online. I realize costs are going up, so I am not complaining and paid it without questioning ... it, but I want to mention it so others avoid sticker shock. Read more
We went to Sushi Kanata last week for dinner. The lady who served us was very warm and friendly. We were presented with two options of all you can eat and a la carte. We opted for a la carte. The sushi pizza was especially delicious and we all ... enjoyed our cocktails. The robot serving us our food was a nice touch and the price was way lower than we expected to pay. Read more
We just left kanata sushi with our 2 young daughters. There was only one other table seated when we walked in. We arrived at 530 and by 6:45 we hadn’t even received our full order. My husband only got his one order of shashimi at 6pm and ... then he added a bunch of other rolls and at 6:45 he still hadn’t received his order. At this time there were only 3 other people in the entire restaurant. We cancelled the rest of our order and asked to pay a la carte because we never had the opportunity for “all you can eat”. Ordered some maki rolls and it did not taste fresh, I worry I may get sick. The ginger was so gross that I actually had to spit it out. My daughter’s chicken balls were cold inside. Horrible expedience and service. Will not be returning ever.
