MHK Sushi - Ottawa, Ontario

Wonderful fresh sushi and poke bowls. And they now have black sesame ice cream, which pairs nicely with the mango ice cream since you get two scoops. The seaweed salad is big enough to scare, and the MHK trio maki platter is perfect.

Nothing really stands out. But it was a pleasant time being there. The food was not great and some of the raw fish was not fresh. We could not eat all of it. No draught beer!

We got takeout, but the restaurant was very nice and cozy. This town has a majority of bad/mid sushi places, but this isn't one of them! High quality sushi and rolls here.

When you first walk in the place my seem a bit crowded but once you sit down it is not that bad. The food, service and especially the presentation are great. I would suggest sharing one of the platters. It is a better bang for your buck. If you are ... really hungry order an appetizer because the sushi will take some time. Read more
