Had a craving for Lao Papaya Salad and this place did not disappoint. Easily one of the best I've had from a restaurant. Serving size was enough for 2 people. I requested it spicy and it was perfectly spicy without drowning out the rest of the flavors. 5 ... stars for the Papaya Salad. Beef salad was ok, but more of a stir fry than a salad. Was expecting it to come cold with herbs and spices. Instead it came hot with mostly just shallots. 3 stars. Sticky rice was way too sticky and wet to be satisfying eating it Lao style. Probably the packaging more than the cooking. 4 stars just because it was on the menu. Definitely recommended, I'll order again. Read more
This is a place we just keep coming back to! The beef salad is amazing (pictured); the green curry, tom kha, chicken satay, really everything we've ordered has been delicious (and if it's meant to be spicy, it actually is!) I know we'll return soon! Thank you Champa!
Best Thai restaurant in Byward market without question, and its family owned! 🇹🇭🍛 I've ordered numerous times, and the quality is consistently spot on. 👌 The combo deals offer a great value and let you try a few different items in smaller portions - great for a single person!
I ordered the combo 5 for a take out. The guy who attended to me was very courteous, the food was delicious, tasty and couldn’t get over the savoury texture of the veggies and protein. The best Thai food I’ve tasted was gotten here. I give it to you guys ... 💐. Read more
Predominantly a takeout place but they do have very limited seating for 6-8 people. The food tasted good but the portion size was quite questionable. Ordered the chicken pad kee mow and even though I liked the taste, it had more veggies than rice noddle and chicken. It was more ... like a vegetable stir fry which is unacceptable for the price charged. Not sure why they would adapt this type of disproportion.. Tom yum did not really taste or look like tom yum at all. It was a clear chicken soup. Shrimp spring rolls were great. Read more
